Keeping customer information private is a priority for Desert Edge Legal Services. We are providing you with this privacy notice to explain what types of personal information we collect about you and how we treat that information. All individuals with access to personal information about our customers are required to follow this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect non-public personal information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you over the phone, in a meeting, or on applications or other forms, such as your name, address, social security number, and payment instructions

  • Information needed to conduct a loan audit

  • Information provided by you when you voluntarily opt-in to

  • Information Obtained During the Course of the Client Relationship

  • Many times, we have access to non public personal information during the course of a client relationship. For example, during a loan audit, we review documents containing social security numbers and other non-public personal information.

Information We Share

We do not disclose any non-public personal information about our clients or former clients to any person or entity without the client’s express written consent. In no event do we disclose your personal information to companies that will use that information to contact you about their own products or services.

If you voluntarily opt in to our e-mail list, you may unsubscribe at any time. Your e-mail address and any other personal information you share with us are maintained in an e-mail database with our e-mail service provider Aweber. Your e-mail address is never rented, sold or shared for marketing purposes.

Our Security Procedures

We take safeguarding your personal information very seriously. We restrict access to non-public personal information about you to those persons who are providing the service you requested from us. We do not release any information, including audit reports, to any other party without your written consent. We maintain reasonable physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to safeguard your non-public personal information. Those controls include anti-virus software and storing any documents with your non-public information in a restricted, locked area. Any documents we are asked to destroy are destroyed using a cross-cut shredder.
